I've cleaned out the closet. Mostly. Since I still have to do a load of laundry before I lay out all of my clothes and show you all the total spread for the challenge, I won't yet show you the closet, either. But, I did put together a small bag of "get rid of" clothes, and a suitcase of "too big for me, but might come in handy at some later time" clothes. I also moved all of my extraneous hanging clothes into the guest room closet, which leaves our closet looking kind of awesomely empty. I kind of like simplifying. A lot.
I've also spent this week wearing things I might miss during the project, like my fuchsia capris, and my boat shoes, which I might actually rearrange my list to include now that I've realized their versatility. But all in all, the list is basically set, and will be totally polished and ready for publication this weekend.
I have also decided to amend the rules slightly for one exception. I am currently making a sweater for myself, and if I finish it, I am going to wear it. I might be fair and swap out something else, but hell, when you work on something for 8 months, I think it deserves some screen time.
