Hey blog! I managed to fix the cord that connects my camera to my computer! Yay! The picture on the left is what I wore for day three. The picture on the right is what I'm wearing today (day 5). Today is pretty casual because it's finally Friday. I've survived the first week of this challenge and my first week of school.
Something I realized yesterday, is that the 5 "cute" shirts I like to wear class is an excellent number to have for one week, I am going to be wearing these for another 25 days. I'm afraid it's going to get monotonous. I realize I can pair of the clothes with different colored camis and cardigans and shoes, but it's still the same shirt. I'm worried that people are going to realize the lack of diversity in my wardrobe. I know that what people think doesn't really matter, but I hate the idea of people judging me silently in their heads. However, I realize that if I didn't have this challenge, I'd probably be mostly wearing these 5 shirts anyways. Maybe I'll wear t-shirts a couple days to mix things up.
Also, I'm thinking about adding another t-shirt and a dress to the mix. This would bring me up to 55 items, I believe. I have a band picnic tomorrow. Unlike other sections, I cannot wear cute tops that do not cover my shoulder during rehearsal. One of the downfalls of playing a REAL instrument....just kidding. So I figured this would be one of the few times I can dress up while band kids are around. I don't want them to think I always dress like a slob. I really don't know why I'm so concerned about what other people think of my wardrobe.
The t-shirt I'm thinking of adding is for more practical reasons. I don't like to dress up on the weekends and if I wear a t-shirt Monday through Friday for band, I am left with no t-shirts for the weekend.
Phew. This is a long post. I hope everyone else is having a nice Friday (or whatever day it is when you're reading this).
